I love spending time in historic downtown Acworth, Georgia, and nearby Acworth Beach, founded in late 1860. The residents of this city have respected and revitalized the architecture and cherished its history. The pedestrian bridge and downtown buildings offer many charming places to shop and take portraits.

Heron at Acworth Beach This heron is a regular at Acworth Beach; I see him every morning that I go there. This morning, he was flying from the dock over the lake during the early morning sunrise. Not only is it beautiful, but it gives you a great view of downtown Acworth. Acworth Vintage Signs I love the fact that Acworth has treasured its vintage signs and older buildings by constructing a small park where a road used to be. This is a great little place to take portraits!	Acworth Christian Church 2021 A portrait of beautiful Acworth Christian Church, lovingly renovated in 2021.	The Red Acworth Caboose Railroad companies no longer use cabooses, so when the railroad company offered a caboose to Perry Kemp of Acworth, he promptly accepted and now the iconic red caboose serves as a charming welcome center for historic downtown Acworth.
